Skyfire is a Splash Caster who is able to provide large area Arts splash damage against blocked targets. She’s able to boost Arts damage taken by enemies when they are blocked by simply being deployed. Her attacks are slow, especially with S2, making targeting blocked enemies that get grouped up together her best use. Sadly her performance is overall subpar against the competition, having low DPS and little utility even with a lot of investment.

Strengths
- Large splash radius on S2 to allows to hit multiple targets easily
- Capable of animation canceling slow attacking enemies with S2 stuns
- Arts damage amplification from talent is global, working for anyone as long as she is deployed
Weaknesses
- Low DPS per target, requires consistently hitting multiple enemies to have decent performance
- S2 attacks are delayed on targets, meaning they can miss fast moving targets
- Attack interval and delay on attacks hitting combined makes her crowd control capabilities poor and unreliable
Talents
Arts Sniper
Increases the Arts damage taken by all blocked enemies by 15% when deployed
A nice boost to Arts damage dealers if you’re fighting more defensively. Skyfire herself, due to how her S2 works, wants you to group enemies up and blocking them is an easy way to do so. It works globally, so you can make use of this with Skyfire deployed anywhere.

This skill is capable of having higher DPS than her second skill, though it isn’t a very high bar. It has nothing else going for it, and can just be used as an alternative if her second skill’s quirks would be an issue for you.

Investment on this skill is wasteful, as the additional damage does nothing significant and her output still remains rather low.

Attack Interval increases, attack changes into summoning meteorites from the sky; Meteorites take a while to fall down, dealing 240% ATK as Arts damage to enemies in a large area and Stunning all hit targets for 1 seconds
Note: The meteor has an explosion radius of 1.7 tiles
The skill’s massive interval reduction is a large downside, as her damage output isn’t very significant to make up for it. It does have an expanded explosion radius to help hit more targets, which could lead to some more damage by virtue of hitting targets more easily. This skill reinforces Skyfire’s focus on attacking blocked targets, as the delay on the meteors hitting the targeted spot means that some fast ground enemies and drones may move out of their radius before they hit the ground.
Skill Mastery

The skill has significant gains in regards to its duration and the stun duration, but otherwise masteries aren’t too notable. Due to the huge interval detriment and delay on the target, the crowd control remains too unreliable, and its damage output still remains poor. Investment is not recommended at all, as it doesn’t help fix the major issues that the skill has.

Fire Retardant Treatment
SPC-Y
The module at its core only serves to help with the high cost of the archetype. While helpful, Skyfire herself still isn’t worth the DP cost, much less getting her to the level of investment required to get the module.

The decreased DP cost does little to make Skyfire more worth using, and the subsequent upgrades also don’t do much to help her weaknesses. While her talent is decent, the improvement is small and using such limited resources on a module that doesn’t rectify the operator’s core weaknesses is not worthwhile.
Synergy
Dusk
Dusk with S3 will focus on unblocked targets to attack so that she may spawn her summons to block them. She has a large range, and her summons also deal Arts damage. It’s easy to benefit at least a little from Skyfire’s talent boosting her and her summons’ damage.
