Rockrock is a Mech-Accord Caster focused entirely on delivering a lot of single-target Arts DPS, using the Overdrive mechanic. Her skills mainly increase her damage through a hefty ASPD buff alongside being capable of increasing her drone’s trait multiplier. This not only means she has a higher damage ceiling than her peers, but also makes her capable of reaching it faster. She might lack the crowd control abilities often found in the branch, but she makes up for it with high damage output and good control over her skill cycle with manual deactivation.

Strengths
- S2 lets her compete with some of the highest ST damage sources among Casters; well worth the overdrive tradeoff, and performs decently enough without it
- Overdrive demerit is proportional to benefit; can be entirely avoided where unwanted
Weaknesses
- S2 DPS is back-loaded, requiring either proper timing or outside crowd control to make the most use of it against a specific enemy, and doesn’t leave a lot of time for ramp-up against multiple enemies
- Limited benefit from further ASPD buffs on skills
Talents
Firm Foundation
+4% ATK for every 15 seconds this unit remains on the battlefield, stacking up to 4 times
This talent simply incentivizes early placement to maximize her damage, but should be looked at purely as a bonus. At Potential 4 you can already consider the duration halved for the same Potential 1 performance due to the ATK increase.

ASPD +90
Its main advantage over S2 is the lower SP cost. It provides the same ASPD buff as S2 without masteries and provides nothing else of value. It is outclassed by S2 and not worth using at all once it is available.

The benefits are pretty linear throughout all skill levels, including masteries, with a slight bump at the end thanks to the minor SP reduction. Mastery isn’t recommended because, while the additional ASPD has a significant effect on her DPS, it just doesn’t do anything S2 can’t cover.

ASPD +80; Releases Drone to attack enemies
Overload: Trait Max drone damage increased to 2x, ATK +50%; When the skill ends, Stunned for the same duration as the Overload
The Drone locks onto an enemy until the enemy is defeated or until the skill is over, then returns to the Operator. Can manually deactivate skill at will.
This skill gives you a lot of control over how you use it with its manual deactivation. You can use it to finish a certain enemy off faster with just the base effect and leave it to recharge for the next wave or use the full duration and overdrive against a particular wave or boss.
While the self-stun is potentially long, up to 20 seconds, it’s more than offset by her damage output during the Overdrive period. It’s best turned off if the density of enemies decreases to avoid wastage, improve cycling, and limit the stun to only what’s necessary. This isn’t to say that just letting the skill run its course will severely impact her usability; those averse to micromanaging operators won’t feel the effect too severely due to the disparity in damage output (just make sure to back her with a blocker).
Skill Mastery
- Recommended Rank
- Mastery 3
- Priority
- Low
The main gain from mastery is the max multiplier ceiling increase on the drones, with the extra ASPD only being significant at M3. The extra initial SP isn’t important. Just remember to either stick to SL7 or M3, depending on your needs. Due to how the attack interval is calculated, the first step of mastery doesn’t impact pre-overdrive performance at all.
Synergy
ATK Buffers
As an operator with low ATK, high built-in multipliers, already relying on ASPD buffs from skills, but not much in the way of ATK modifiers, she’ll be a prime candidate for a variety of ATK buffs. These can include powerful ST buffs such as Warfarin S2, or AoE flat ATK buffs such as those from Skadi the Corrupting Heart. The relatively short duration of S2’s overdrive also makes it easy to match with a variety of buffers in terms of cycling.
Status Resistance Sources
Due to the possibility of a long stun on her S2, any operator that grants status Resistance will be able to significantly reduce the opportunity cost of just letting Overdrive run its course. Operators such as Nian (S3) and Ceylon (S2) can provide Resistance passively and without any conditions. However, bringing these operators just to reduce Rockrock’s stun duration might not be the most optimal. The easiest synergy in this respect is with Lumen, who can remove her stun altogether with only one heal during his S3.
