Pudding is a Chain Caster known for her strong damage output against a pair of targets due to S2’s repeated bounces. Due to her low rarity, good offensive ability within the branch, and easy obtainability from the red voucher shop, she’s the most approachable option for players looking to try them out—especially for new players in need of multi-target Arts damage.

While she has the lowest ATK in the branch by a decent margin, she makes up for it with an unconditional ATK talent. Otherwise, her stats are normal for a 4-star Chain Caster.
Trait jump range:
Strengths
- Kit lacks ways to inhibit performance (S2 is only ineffective against single targets), making her intuitive to use
- High damage floor and good multi-target damage for rarity
Weaknesses
- Has a low damage ceiling compared to others in the branch, especially at higher levels of investment
Talents
Electromagnetic Waves
ATK +10%
This talent simply makes up for her low ATK stat and lacks any conditions that she’d need to satisfy to get it.

As with most S1s, it has somewhat better uptime at the cost of being extremely simple and completely overshadowed by her S2 in damage output, both on average and during skill uptime.

There’s really never a need to use this skill beyond E0, so mastery is not recommended.

ATK +110%, attacks can jump between enemies up to 4 times
The ability to bounce back and forth between targets makes this a fairly flexible skill, capable of reaching its best performance with as little as two targets on hand and increasing her target count even at E1. The ideal single-target damage case is exactly two targets, but so long as there’s more than one she’ll be spreading all of it around anyways.

Mastery comes with an average, but welcome, modifier increase and a somewhat improved skill cycle and uptime. They’re good if you intend to make the most of Pudding, but her low damage ceiling means it’s not a priority.

CHA-Y
The stage 1 module is the most significant; making the Slow a lot more noticeable and removing the jump damage reduction does great things for her S2 performance. The subsequent upgrades are linear upgrades to her ATK talent.

The module’s stage 1 is fairly cheap for what it does, and is probably worth getting if you intend on using Pudding later into the game.
