Proviso is a Decel Binder Supporter with fast-cycling skills for effective Slow crowd control and Silence utility. She performs her role well, but doesn’t stand out too much. In a general team, she is usually picked for her ability to also Silence enemies, as there are many other options for both single target and wide range Slow. Proviso also has some synergy with other Kazimierz units, but is usually not worth bringing just for said synergy.

Strengths
- Long AOE Slow and Silence on S2 cast with a decently short cooldown
- Low investment needed to make good use of her kit’s utility
- Kit has multiple ways to help keep up slow uptime from the talent to effects on each skill
Weaknesses
- Bulk of her damage and crowd control is single target
- Easily replaceable if all you need is Slow, both in single target and AoE situations
Talents
Kazimierz Legal Expertise
ASPD +10; the same buff is given to a random [Kazimierz] Operator when deployed
Note: If Proviso is deployed when there are no other Kazimierz operators present, the buff from this talent is applied to the next Kazimierz operator deployed. The buff disappears after Proviso is retreated.
A simple and effective ASPD boost. The random targeting isn’t an issue unless you use a lot of Kazimierz operators, but its buff is nothing to plan a strategy around. It’s something nice for Proviso herself, making her Slow slightly more effective. It allows her S1 to have nearly full Slow uptime when using multiple charges one after another.

The next attack deals 300% ATK as Arts damage, and slightly increases the Trait's Slow duration

This skill is useful where you only need a consistent application of single target Slow. The charges help make good use of downtime, and allow her to effectively Slow one enemy for a longer time.
Skill Mastery

The biggest benefits from mastery are the extra charge at M2 and lower SP at M3. That being said, the scope of the skill is not changed by masteries. Most players will find other crowd control options to be more effective, even if they don’t offer exactly the same consistent single-target Slow effect.

Proviso’s S2 is a useful tool for both Silence and crowd control in a wide range. It has a fast cycle with a long effect duration and doesn’t require much investment to be effective. The Slow and Silence effects are applied only on the initial hit of the skill, but affect all enemies in her range. Slow doesn’t stack with itself, so her faster attacks will only contribute Arts damage in most cases. However, if an un-slowed enemy enters Proviso’s range, she’ll keep close to full Slow uptime on them, if able to target them consistently.
Skill Mastery
- Recommended Rank
- None
- Priority
- --
Mastery gains are fairly significant for the skill’s total damage and debuff uptime, but don’t change its SP cost. The skill is hard to recommend for mastery, due to the SL7 effect uptime already being long enough for most situations, but those interested in getting the most out of her mix of Slow and Silence won’t regret the M3.

Deszcz's Graduate Memento
DEC-X
The base module allows you to play more freely with her S2, and makes her S1 even more consistent. The ATK increase from higher Stages can be valuable depending on who you’re using her with (with Nearl the Radiant Knight and Fartooth being notable examples).

The base module provides a good amount of leeway where masteries don’t, and stacks with other sources of SP/sec, making it a cost-effective upgrade for both S1 and S2. Further module levels aren’t recommended unless you have a clear idea of who you’re using the additional ATK on. Even if you want to buff a strong Kazimierz unit, it may be better to invest in a more generally applicable buffer.
