Introduction

Platinum is a Marksman Sniper with good consistent damage output against mid-to-high DEF enemies from long range. She shines in situations where snipers of the same branch don’t have time to cycle their single-target DPS skills or can’t reach the same targets.

Strengths
- Easy to use and great in AFK strats
- Permanent additional range opens up unique positions
- Maintains respectable damage output against even ~800-900 DEF enemies
Weaknesses
- Minor anti-synergy with ASPD buffs
- Relatively low damage ceiling compared to peers
Talents
All-Out Attack
The longer the interval from the last attack is, the higher the ATK of the next attack will be (The longest interval is 2.5 seconds and the corresponding ATK increases to 180%)
This talent is essentially a conditional attack scale. Only her S2 really makes use of it. Since her skill only pushes her attack interval to ~1.25 sec, the added wiggle room helps offset outside ASPD debuffs and keeps her damage from falling off too much against higher DEF targets.

This skill's permanent and reliable performance against mid-to-high DEF enemies pushes her ahead of the other Marksmen in certain situations. She does well where you’d want to apply a Heavyshooter, but one isn’t easy to apply (whether due to their targeting, lack of options, or their shorter range). The additional tile of reach (two if competing with Heavyshooters) helps give her more time on target and hit targets where others with similar single-target DPS couldn’t.
While solid as part of a team, it’s hard to increase her performance ceiling, and she loses out regardless if all that matters is her peers’ on-skill DPS. This is why she’s a strong player in AFK teams.
Skill Mastery

- Mastery 3
- Priority
- Low
Mastery greatly cuts down on the time needed to get this skill up and running, which makes her more competitive. The attack increase is nothing to scoff at either, but it’s secondary. The reason for a low priority is that outside situations where you need her reliability, she’s not the most competitive sniper.

Solo Travel Kit
MAR-X
This module lets Platinum get a damage boost against aerial enemies and increases her DPS with the bonus stats and talent upgrades. The multiplier against aerial enemies is strong with her kit, which makes her much more formidable against higher DEF aerial units. The ATK stat boost is good, though the HP is not very useful for her, especially as her additional range allows her to stay out of danger.
- Recommended Stage
- Stage 1

- Low
The base module itself is worthwhile for the 25 ATK alone. It’s more efficient than simply going for higher levels, alongside the additional benefits. Upgrades are not recommended as the stat gains diminish and the talent upgrades aren’t very worthwhile. Though an additional 10% multiplier isn’t bad by itself, Platinum only benefits from that full value after enough downtime of not attacking. It’ll only benefit the first attack when initiating combat, and ends up negligible for the follow-up attacks.
Synergy
Skadi the Corrupting Heart
Since at her core, Platinum still has a fairly low ATK, propped up by her skills, the permanent additional ATK from Skadi’s S2 synergizes with Platinum’s place in AFK teams.
ASPD Buffers
Any sources of ASPD buffs will be counteracted by the decrease of her talent, and so end up of very marginal value to Platinum. Ultimately this isn’t too important, since the difference isn’t too drastic outside niche scenarios even with significant ASPD buffs like Elysium’s, but it’s best avoided.
