While her ATK and HP are on the lower side among guards, on-par with ranged guards, her DEF stat is among the highest. This means she has surprisingly high survivability against physical damage dealers.

Due to her range, true AoE, and fast attack speed, she gets the stacks up faster than one would expect. Visually, you can tell it’s active once she has white arrows surrounding her, and that it’s fully stacked once the gray flame effect appears.

The combination of multi-hit and multiplier paired with low SP cost gives this skill good average performance and a high damage floor. The self-heal increase with it is also respectable, making this a decent skill.

Despite the above, in practice, S2’s burst is more valuable. A lot of the time, La Pluma’s base performance will be good enough that the added performance doesn’t matter much. If you do want to invest in it, though, it scales a bit better with buffers (especially Skalter) and can make her a fairly reliable laneholder.

Attack Interval reduces greatly, ATK +70%. ATK increases by an additional +50% against enemies with less than 50% HP
The attack interval reduction significantly improves her survivability during the skill, and the respectable attack modifiers ensure she deals high damage, even against armored enemies. Its duration is long enough to deal with most enemies or waves when needed. For heavily armored enemies, once they are below 50% HP, the additional buff will allow La Pluma to finish them off.
