Flint is a Fighter Guard who can deal high damage against unblocked enemies up to the higher end of medium DEF. In the right hands, she can contribute a good amount of damage to a team, usually in the role of support DPS. That said, her squishiness, the lack of self-sustain, and the reliance on not blocking enemies render her a novelty.

Strengths
- Scales well with buffers due to a mix of high ASPD and the inherent damage scale from her talent
- S2 provides a decent bit of crowd control against higher DEF enemies, while still contributing meaningfully in terms of damage output
Weaknesses
- Lack of dodge or self-sustain in her kit makes her the squishiest in the branch if she does end up blocking
Talents
Featherweight
Deals 40% more damage to enemies that are not blocked by this unit
It’s important to note this talent gives her damage scale–that is to say, the multiplier applies after resistances. This holds her back from really shredding high DEF enemies. That said, it’s an effective damage boost, and her kit works hard to make sure it’s active more often than not.

Offensive RecoveryAuto Trigger- Initial SP
- 0
- SP Cost
- 4
- Duration
- 0 sec
Increases the ATK of the next attack to 230%, pushes the target towards the attack direction slightly and Slows the target for 1 second
Your go-to skill if you need her strictly for consistent damage and, notably, if her push is enough to interrupt enemy animations. However, it falls off even against medium-defense enemies and her squishiness is on full display here, so it’s not really something you bring unless you can use the push.
Skill Mastery

A rare case where mastery only increases the multiplier on the skill, which is more or less irrelevant to how you use it in practice. The skill will do what you need it to at Skill Level 7 in the vast majority of circumstances.
Display of Might
Per Second RecoveryManual Trigger- Initial SP

- SP Cost
- 35
- Duration
- 20 sec
Cannot block enemies, ATK +55%, ASPD +55. Each attack Slows the target for 0.3 seconds
Makes the most of her kit by side-stepping her poor survivability and ensuring the talent is always active. The Slow duration might sound low, but considering her attack interval is ~0.5 sec during skill uptime, it’s actually quite potent at keeping an enemy within her range, although she’s prone to getting overwhelmed by more enemies if alone. When backed by a blocker or another damage source, she can contribute a fair deal and keep more dangerous enemies at bay for a few extra seconds.

The mastery gains don’t fundamentally change how you play this skill, and the modifier increase isn’t really worth the resource cost. However, if you’re investing in one of her skills’ mastery, it might as well be this one.
Synergy
Skadi the Corrupting Heart
In short, Skalter offers everything Flint lacks–a buff for her low ATK which pairs well with her high attack speed and multipliers, added DEF to help with her squishiness, and regen for extra self-sustain on top.
