Introduction

Bibeak is a Swordmaster Guard with a kit focusing on consistent damage and crowd control, the latter being what she’s best known for. Her low skill cooldowns and S2 charges grant her spammable skills that don’t require optimizing uptime as much.

Despite being a welfare operator, Bibeak has a normal stat spread even without potentials. Due to her potentials being easily accessible, her DP cost and redeployment time are on par with the branch 4-stars. She has the highest base ATK among swordmaster guards, thanks to her massive trust gain. Paired with her first talent’s attack speed increase, this serves to secure her a significant lead in consistent DPS even without the usage of her skills.
Strengths
- High single-target DPS floor
- Very low SP skills offset the fact offensive recovery wastes downtime
- Decently long and scalable stun (1.8 ~ 5.4 seconds, due to charges)
- Skills primarily deal arts damage
Weaknesses
- Low damage ceiling
- Talent can take a while to come into full effect and lacks a visual cue
- Low modifiers on skills mean she scales worse with buffers than her peers.
Talents
Soul Drinker
ASPD +6 after defeating an enemy (stacks up to 5 times)
Besides granting Bibeak a noticeably higher DPS floor, this talent addresses the need to raise her SP generation to a little over 1 SP/sec in combat. The caveat here is that she needs time to get it online, meaning you want to deploy her early to stack up the necessary kills.

The next attack deals 180% damage, and deals 180% Arts damage to an additional target within range.
A simple auto-attack skill, made interesting by its ability to attack a second target if two enemies are in range. It’s notable to mention she retains her two hits for the physical attack, so it’s a hefty improvement in total DPS even without a second target in range. Due to the range and the fact it can target flying enemies, finding a second target isn’t too difficult most of the time either.
Skill Mastery

The gains from mastery are actually fairly significant, with the SP reduction locked behind M3 being responsible for a decent chunk of it. That said, there are a lot of units that are able to provide better consistent DPS and with fewer requirements.

Deals 200% ATK as Arts damage to up to 6 targets within range, and Stuns them for 1.8 second(s)

X2 | operator cell | active cell | active cell | active cell |
X3 | active cell | active cell | empty cell | empty cell |
A fairly simple yet versatile skill. It can perform well for lane holding, as you can start using individual charges against mobs to prevent overflow or use all the charges at once against hardier enemies. The real appeal of this skill is its ability to repeatedly stun enemies in range for a decent duration, which is the reason she finds her way into a lot of rosters in the first place.
Skill Mastery

- Mastery 3

While all three charges are present throughout skill levels, mastery gives significant SP savings over time and practically makes the first stun instant if deployed on an enemy. This improves her ease of use as well as her crowd control potential greatly.

A Well-Made Shirt
SWO-X
Additional ATK and ASPD benefit Bibeak well, allowing her to better deal with armored enemies, and giving her a small boost to SP gain from attacks. The additional skill damage is good and adds up with multiple skill uses, which is core to Bibeak’s usage. Its Stage 2 upgrade is noteworthy, as the additional stack on top of gaining ATK with each stack works perfectly for the branch. Stage 3 further amplifies the ATK buff, helping with Bibieak’s off-skill damage.

- Stage 2+

Bibeak benefits all around with the stats and effects from the module, as a lot of her use is primarily her skills. She can be very spammy and even hold charges for multiple skill uses at once, making the 10% damage boost add up quickly. The second stage is good for this purpose, as the additional ASPD allows for even more skill uses, with the additional ATK making a noticeable difference in both skill damage and her normal attacks. Consider the third stage if you still wish for more damage, as it provides a good boost to her DPS without being too costly.
Synergy
Ch'en
A notable synergy due to Bibeak’s low SP costs. The boost to her SP generation makes the most of her downtime as well as noticeably quickening her SP generation in combat, as she already compensates for her slower SP regen with her own talent.
